Installation Process
Installing PEX compression fittings involves several key steps:
Prepare the Pipe: Cut the PEX pipe to the required length, ensuring it's clean and free of burrs.
Insert the Compression Nut and Ring: Slide the compression nut and O-ring or gasket onto the PEX pipe.
Insert the Fitting Body: Push the fitting body onto the pipe until it reaches the desired position.
Tighten the Compression Nut: Securely tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body by hand or using an adjustable wrench.
Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and inspect the connection for any leaks. If necessary, tighten the compression nut further to eliminate leaks.
